Volunteer role (part time)
Are your writing skills going to get us funding and followers?
Help us change the narrative around periods and achieve gender equity.
ABOUT PERIOD REALITY
We live in a world designed around men and their 24-hour hormonal cycle. Every day, men wake up with the same amount of energy. People with periods aren’t designed that way. Gender equity is not creating space for 50% of the population to fit into a men’s mould. It’s changing the way society operates.
Our goal is to change the narrative of periods all around the world to a more inclusive and positive one. We do this by educating about and advocating for living in sync with your cycle. We want to hear diverse stories of period realities from all types of people: different genders, backgrounds, cultures, countries, ages and levels of education.
We exist to create authentic and engaging content to inform and share real life stories, amplify diverse voices and build a virtual community. We believe that understanding how the menstrual cycle works can and will contribute to a more balanced life. We support a more empathetic approach to periods. For that, we work to help menstruating people be kinder to themselves but also non-menstruating people to be better allies.

We are seeking a volunteer Fund Writing and Content Expert to join our team. You will work on developing and submitting grant proposals along with working closely with the fundraising team.
